One of the nicest Protein Powders I’ve ever tasted.
A massive thank you to @helpinghollyy for her latest review on Instagram
This protein powder so good even honeys shocked (also yes he is missing a tooth).
Slightly off base for what i normally post but honestly i feel like this needs its own little post and also this gives me something to think about when i’m going stir crazy in the house.
@becks_lifts started working with this brand recently (check out her recipe creations they’re to die for) and it’s one of the nicest proteins i’ve ever had. i’ve always struggled getting enough protein in my diet and i normally don’t like protein powder at all. But this raspberry ripple is one of the nicest powders i’ve ever tasted. If you saw our PT group chat you’d know we all love it.
It’s veggie (unfortunately not vegan) but it’s not full of loads of hidden nasties like most powders are.
It’s an 80 serving tub which is damn good especially compared to some of the powders on the market selling for a similar price.
Also gotta be proud of it being produced in Yorkshire.
Protein powder is NOT a meal or a replacement meal. Please don’t view it as that. Before i went into recovery i wasn’t ever getting any nutrients my body needed to properly function and after starting recovery i still don’t tend to eat a lot of meat/nuts/beans so even though i’m eating the food my body needs i’m still not getting in the recommend protein amount; especially since i’m actively trying to increase my strength.
Extra nutrients and powders sometimes have a negative connotation to it since a lot of bullshit is sold in this type of form (i’m taking fruit vitamins you don’t need or detox powders). But taking extra nutrients, if your body actually needs them, isn’t harmful or negative. I know my body needs more protein and i’m not willing to eat meat to take it in, so honestly protein powder is a god send to me. Let me know your thoughts. do you take any extra nutrients or powders?’
